good service but need it more often like 7 x week.

ReplyDeleteYes, we agree! We are looking into ways of extending our hours of operation in the Fall semester. This is still a pilot project, though, and has not been funded as an ongoing service. Stay tuned for updates on our hours in September.

ReplyDeleteLooks like we've been neglecting this! Hopefully you've managed to find the answer to your question elsewhere - but just in case: PaperWERKS is back in business, having started up last week. David Lam is also hosting this drop-in session on Monday's, from 11:00-1:00 PM. At New Westminster, PaperWERKS sessions will be taking place on Tuesdays from 11:30-1:30 PM, Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30 AM, and Thursday's from 1:30-3:30 PM. Hope to see you there!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to send a sincere thank you to the library. Today I came in and there was a librarian who was extremely helpful, friendly and approachable. This particular person spent a lot of time familarizing me with the library and how I might better become accustomed to utilizing all the services. This is the second time I have come to the library and have been treated in such a professional manner. Thank you for all your efforts. You are such a vital resource to all students!!!

You may not have realized it, but you were actually taking part in a service called PaperWERKS, where the Library and Learning Centre provide help to students in a single location. This is the first semester PaperWERKS has been offered at the David Lam campus, and it's good to know it's working! Please drop by again, when you have a question or need some help.
